Herbal Tea Party Manifesto

Herbal Tea Party-Uniting the Rednecks and Hippies.

  1. End targeted affirmative action, farm subsidies, welfare, and government unemployment insurance and replace these programs with a Universal Citizen’s Dividend, an equal payment to all citizens, rich or poor, regardless of race, religion, age, sexual orientation or ethnicity.
  2. $3.00 gallon tax on gasoline, 100% of which goes to Universal Citizen’s Dividend
  3. Replace graduated income tax with flat 40% income tax on all income.  Eliminate all personal deductions.  Half of the proceeds to government, half of all proceeds to Universal Citizen’s Dividend
  4. Tax all property at 2% of assessed value.  Half of all proceeds to Universal Citizen’s Dividend, half of all proceeds to government.  No exceptions, no exemptions.
  5. End the drug war and the control of people’s bodies by the government and American Medical Association.  Unfettered access to pharmaceuticals is a universal human right.  Immediately release from jail and prison all non-violent drug offenders.
  6. Open medical services to genuine competition.  Eliminate government doctor licensing.  The American Medical Association may continue to exist but it would have no legal standing.  The only government control over medicine will be to prosecute fraud.
  7. Pass a constitutional amendment that eliminates Limited Liability Corporations’ rights as human beings and forbids them from contributing to political campaigns and politicians.  It would restrict all contact with politicians to public meetings.  Only human beings will have constitutional rights.
  8. Restrict Limited Liability Corporations to a single physical site.
  9. Offer an educational voucher program to compete with public schools

10.  Form Rainbow Militias dedicated to the protection of all people regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation or ethnicity.

11.  Build a high speed rail line between the 50 state capitals and all major cities

12.  Create a domestic Marshall Plan to repair and update our infrastructure.

13.  Restore the universal right to bankruptcy every seven years.

14.  Restrict all banks to a single physical site.
